You are going to scan for 5 things–

1. The name of the part of the brain used for interpreting the meaning of visual images (overview section).

2. The main elements of the framework that students of this lab class will be using (overview section).

3. The 2 types of ‘depth cues’ and the difference between them (depth section).

4. The meaning of ‘after-effect’ in this context (motion section).

5. The part of the brain that responds to changes in motion and contrast (biology of perception section).

Before you scan, you need to predict and write down the key words that you are going to scan for.
